Paul Murphy, Unsung Hero

In every organization, there are a few people who take on much more than their share of the workload.  In chapter 96, Paul Murphy's name comes up immediately as one of our "go-to" guys.  Despite his visibility as emcee of the monthly luncheon meetings, Paul is truly an unsung hero.  He is the man who produces just about every document the chapter uses, from brochures and award certificates to miscellaneous poster and flyer materials for specific events.  Paul never fails to step up if there is committee work to be done for any SIR event, such as the Christmas party or the annual picnic.  He is also instrumental in attracting new members with his publicity work with not only the state SIR newsletter and Website, but also with the local Amador Ledger Dispatch.  Chapter 96 salutes Paul Murphy and extends our heartfelt appreciation for his unselfish efforts on our behalf.  (Reprinted from the SIR 96Amador Amblings, February 2008)
